Warranty and Return Policy
THIS PAGE APPLIES TO ONLINE ORDERS ONLY
30 Day Return
You may initiate a return for a refund or an exchange within
30 days of Purchase for new and complete products. Defective Products can only
be exchanged. There is a 20% restocking fee and the original cost of shipping will not be refunded.
Exclusions do apply. Please read the Exclusion section below.
Exclusions
Non-refundable exclusions include select products and are
noted as non-refundable in the item description. Examples are precut wire,
special order items, and labor.
Products must be new, complete, and show no signs of use or
attempted installation. If the product is not new, complete, or shows signs of
use, Driver’s Edge Car Audio reserves the right to refuse a return, exchange,
and issue a restocking fee. Examples
that can lead to restocking fees or refusal of a return or exchange include but
are not limited to:
- Any sign of use including scratches, physical
markings, signs of attempted installation, screw holes, or similar. - Labels, stickers, and tags from the manufacturer
that have been removed or tampered with. - The original package is damaged or missing, or
missing packing. - Missing parts or components.
- Physical damage.
- Improper packaging on return shipping.
- Different serial numbers than one initially
noted on the receipt. - Mounted or used subwoofer enclosures and speaker
boxes. - Fried, punctured, or blown speakers, subwoofers,
amplifiers, and capacitors.
1-year warranty
All products except for nonrefundable items are covered by a
1-year warranty (365 days from the date of purchase) for repair against product
defects by the Manufacturer.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR FINANCED ORDERS
Refunds method
Refunds will be applied back to the method of payment of the
original purchase. If you purchased it on a credit card the same credit card
will be issued the refund.
Incomplete returns within 30 days of purchase
If a product is not returned with the complete contents of
the box a repackaging fee will be charged. Only the parts and or pieces of the product
that was returned will be shipped back.
Speaker and Subwoofer Warranty
Speakers and subwoofer that have been misused, abused, or
were installed improperly are ineligible for warranty replacement. Misuse and
abuse as defined but not limited to the following:
- Blown Woofers, Burnt Voice Coils
- Melted adhesives
- Damaged Coils
- Punctures
- Broken or Bent Frames
- Broken or Worn Terminals
- Damaged Backplates
- Disconnected wires
- Ripped Spiders
Capacitors
If a capacitor is returned it will only be refunded if the
package has not been opened. If a capacitor has been opened it automatically
voids a refund.
A capacitor will only be exchanged if it is defective. To
initiate a capacitor exchange call Driver’s Edge Car Audio at 806-747-6550
Monday-Saturday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm CST and speak with a representative.

Testing Fees
A diagnostic and testing fee may be added to the return to
verify that the product is damaged or defective. If the product is damaged due
to customer negligence a refund may be declined.
If the product is defective and is under warranty the
testing fee may be waived. The testing fee will be added to a return at the
sole discretion of Driver’s Edge Car Audio. The testing fee will have to be paid before
the product will be returned to the customer.
Defective Products:
Defective products will be exchanged for the same product
within the return period of 30 days. If the product is discontinued, you will
be eligible for a non-refundable store credit towards another product. After 30
days, the initial product is covered under the Manufacturer’s warranty only.
All Defective Sundown Audio products must be returned to
Sundown Audio directly. You can get a return merchandise authorization from www.sundownaudio.com
Order Cancelations
To cancel an order, please call Driver’s Edge Car Audio at
806-747-6550 during business hours; Monday-Saturday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm CST. If
your order has been processed, we will not be able to cancel it.
Orders cannot be canceled via email requests.
