The Rockford Fosgate Power T1650 is a pair of 6.5-inch 2-way coaxial car speakers designed with a coaxially mounted 1-inch treated aluminum dome tweeter and a 4-ohm impedance. For system matching, each speaker is rated for 75 watts RMS power handling and 150 watts max power handling.
Unlike a component system with separate tweeters and external crossovers, the T1650 keeps its tweeter and crossover integrated with the speaker. Its built-in tweeter high-pass crossover uses a 12 dB/octave Butterworth design. The speaker also combines an injection-molded carbon fiber-filled polypropylene cone, Santoprene rubber surround, poly cotton spider, high-temperature aluminum voice coil, and stamp-cast aluminum frame.
For installation planning, the midrange mounting depth is 2.52 in (64mm). Grilles/trim rings and mounting hardware are included. These Power Series 6.5-inch coaxial speakers are sold in pairs.
